Privacy Policy

Picsense (“Picsense,” “we,” “us”), operated by Salkantai, provides an AI virtual clothing try-on service at picsense.ai. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your choices. Because our service works with photos of people — including faces — please read the “Photos and facial images” section carefully.
Information we collect
- Account information — your email, name, and profile image when you sign up with email/password or Google.
- Photos and camera captures — the images of yourself (or others you are authorized to use) that you upload or take to generate a try-on. These typically include faces and other physical features.
- Product links and images — the retailer links and clothing images you paste to try on.
- Generated images — the try-on images the service produces from your photo and the selected garments.
- Looks and generations — collections and past results you save to your account.
- Feedback — ratings and comments you send about a result, which may include the result image.
- Payment information — processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
- Usage data — credits used, referrals, device/browser and log data needed to run and secure the service.
- Advertising data — in our mobile app only, our advertising partner (Google AdMob) collects device and advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location, and ad-interaction data to deliver and measure ads, including the rewarded ads you can watch to earn credits (see “Advertising”).
How we use your information
- To provide the try-on service and generate the images you request.
- To show ads in our mobile app, including rewarded ads you can choose to watch to earn free credits.
- To run an automated quality check on results so we can avoid charging you for clearly broken output.
- To manage your account, credits, saved looks, and referrals.
- To process payments, issue receipts, and prevent fraud.
- To respond to your feedback and support requests, and to improve the service.
- To send you service-related emails (see “Email communications”).
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the service.
Photos and facial images
The photos you provide often contain faces and other identifying features. We treat these as sensitive and handle them accordingly:
- We use your photos only to generate the try-on results you request and to run the automated quality check on those results.
- We do NOT use your photos or generated images to train AI models.
- We do NOT use facial recognition to identify you or build biometric profiles.
- To generate a result, your photo and the selected garment images are sent to our AI model providers strictly for processing that request (see “Service providers”).
- You may only upload photos of yourself or of people who have given you their consent. Do not upload photos of anyone under 16.
- You can delete individual generations, or your entire account and its stored images, at any time (see “Retention and deletion”).
Sharing and public links
If you choose to share a result, we create a public link (and social-media preview) for that image. Anyone who has the link can view the shared image without signing in, so only share results you are comfortable making public. Sharing is always your choice — we never publish your images unless you generate a share link. You can revoke access by deleting the generation, after which the link stops working — though copies others have already downloaded, or that were cached elsewhere, may still persist.
Email communications
We send transactional emails such as account, receipt, and support messages, and we notify our own team internally when a new account is created or deleted so we can operate the service. When you send feedback about a result, that message (and any attached result image) is delivered to our support inbox. We do not send advertising email, and email is handled by our email provider (see below).
Service providers we share data with
We share the minimum data necessary with providers that help us run Picsense. We do not sell your personal data.
- Google — sign-in (if you use Google to log in).
- Stripe — payment processing and receipts.
- Vercel — hosting, and the AI Gateway that routes generation requests to model providers.
- AI model providers (including Google and OpenAI, accessed through the Vercel AI Gateway) — to generate try-on images and run the quality check. Requests are processed to fulfill your request and are not used by us to train models.
- Cloudflare (R2) — storage and delivery of your photos and generated images.
- Neon — our database.
- Resend — sending our transactional and notification emails.
- ScrapingBee — fetching product images from retailer links you paste when a site blocks direct access.
- Google AdMob — to display and measure ads in our mobile app (mobile only). AdMob's use of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Advertising
Our mobile app shows ads through Google AdMob, including rewarded ads you can choose to watch to earn free credits. To deliver and measure these ads, AdMob collects device and advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location, and app-interaction data. Our website does not show ads.
With your consent, ads may be personalized based on this data. On iOS we request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; in the European Economic Area and the UK we ask for consent through Google's consent tool. If you decline, you'll still see ads, but they will be non-personalized.
You can change your choice at any time: on iOS via Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking; on Android by resetting or deleting your advertising ID in system settings; and you can manage personalized ads at any time through Google's Ads Settings.
AdMob's handling of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and Google's advertising policies. Sharing advertising data with our ad partner may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under some U.S. state laws; where applicable, you may exercise your choices as described in “Your rights.”
Retention and deletion
We keep your data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You can delete individual generations from your account, and you can request deletion of your whole account from your profile — this removes your account and deletes the associated images we store. Some records (for example, payment and tax records held by Stripe) may be retained where the law requires. Backups and logs are purged on a rolling basis.
How we protect your data
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and images stored with our storage provider are encrypted at rest. Access to production systems and stored images is limited to what is needed to operate the service. No method of storage or transmission is ever perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data with measures appropriate to its sensitivity — especially photos that contain faces.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise many of these directly from your profile, or by emailing us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to track free trials for anonymous visitors. Our website does not use advertising cookies; ads and their identifiers appear only in our mobile app (see “Advertising”).
International processing
Picsense is operated from Uruguay, and our providers may process and store data in the United States, the European Union, and other regions. By using the service you understand your data may be processed in these locations.
Children
Picsense is not intended for children under 16, and you must not upload photos of anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy; we’ll revise the date above when we do.
